The churches I serve are going through a time of adjustment. Long-serving leaders are moving on to retirement, old structures are being reassesed as to their usefulness, teachings are being re-examined as to their accuracy.
Where are we going? Uncertainty feels like instability.
I read the following article recently. In context it is referring to the recent scandals shaking many a denomination. Although the issues in our congregations are not identicle, the principles are applicable. I found the author’s thoughts helpful. I hope you do too.
