- Speak slower – sound is muddied over distance and by outdoor noises
- Longer gaps between words, ideas etc.
- Distinct diction
- Energy – purposeful
- Large actions
- Turn your body as well as head to face all parts of the crowd
- Close to microphone, but not hunching over it
- Notes easy to read in sunlight. Big font. Print out. Clip to lecturn.
- One main scripture, illustration, point
- Great story – self-deprecating
- Jesus focus
